Safely reached!

Okie! I have safely reached Brisbane and am going to school tomorrow!

First and foremost, thank EVERYONE who came down! I cannot type one by one cause the stupid me did not bring the correct universal adapter! So got to wait for Xue Ying to come then go buy..

I really miss alot of peeps already.. Namely my parents.. Okie, i got to save the batt!! So will update soon!! Love ya all!!

A new beginning.. =)

In about 5 hours i will be flying to Queensland to start a new journey..The past few months that i deferred my studies has been a roller coaster ride.. I have had so much fun from band to tri to poly and so much more! It has been so wonderful and i really do not regret deferring my studies!

This 2 weeks has been filled with alot of gatherings, love, fun, mahjong, food, no training and late nights.. I really hope i would be strong enough to hold myself up, to do well, do my family and myself proud..

It has been a crazy week for me with packing, sitting on my luggage, taking things out, re-packing again, emo moments and so much more.. But i am thankful that i still had alot of fun.. Gathering with my son, poly babes, band mates and having spent alot of time with a really treasured friend..

Rennie, thank you for the really great times that we spent together.. I have become so reliant on you, it is going to feel so different without you.. I am going to feel so empty somehow, i believe you know what i mean.. Hahaz.. It is ironic how we became like perfect strangers yet turn around to find one another again.. Thank you so much.. You have been there for me when i am at my lowest point.. I am truly truly thankful to you my friend.. Will send ya an email soon, so just look out till then yeah?

I have so many things to blog about, yet i am lost for words.. Basically thank you ALL:
Triathlon Team and Alumni- all of you guys and girls has been a blast to be with! All the training, jokes and fun.. I can't wait to train with you all soon!!

Thankful..

As i am leaving in less than 2 weeks, i start to think about the people that i am going to miss so much and other than my father, mother and brother, the first two male names that pops into my mind is Ian and Khairul..

Ian

A confidant, a pillar of strength, a brother, someone i cannot live without.. So much has happened between us, from just friends to a really close platonic relationship that no one can understand unless they have gone through what we have gone through together.. From being in the same Secondary School, to being in Student Council and in the committee, to being Band mates, to being Poly Mates, to being Internship mates and all the way till now being such great friends..

Our friendship has stood the test of time, going through ups and downs, happiness and unhappiness, resolving our differences and accepting one another for who we really are.. I always feel so comfortable around you, like you have seen the really worse side of me and still accept me for who i am.. I really admire that no matter how bitchy or nasty i can get sometimes, you have always been there and i know will still be there to keep me on track, to be a friend that i trust so much.. It is after the Shanghai Internship that the bond between us just got stronger than before..

Even though we do not meet much nowadays as you are in camp, the bond between us is still so unique and strong.. Nothing or no one can snap this really thick string, no more like cable between us! If in future my boyfriend or husband is going to attempt to snap this cable, i will snap his *thing*.. Hahaz!!

I know this is like a repeat, but then again, thank you Ian, for being there for me.. For being the really much needed strength to move on when we were in Shanghai.. The one that is willing to do crazy things with me.. Wake up super early to go eat the famouns Yu Yuan Xiao Long Bao during winter when the weather was so freaking cold! Take picture with the Christmas tree in Four Seasons Shanghai with the shirt that was made with love for us from Charity and Lisa, to eat cake at Cafe 85 Degrees together late in the night, to buy a Daisy to just make my day...

Thank you so much.. You my bro, are the most super steady person i know.. If i ask you if you wanna go here or there, stay out late and stuff, your answer would be YES! If i want to travel overseas, i KNOW your answer would be a YES! Hahaz..

To be frank, i really want to have the chance for us to travel together again.. To explore the world, to have you around when i feel scared and lonely in a foreign ground.. With you around, i feel super safe even if you put me in a jungle filled with wild grizzly bears, tigers, lions and whatever lah ah.. Hahaz.. Maybe too exaggerated, but you get what i mean.. Hahaz!! No words can express how glad i am to have you with me..

I have so much to say, but its not that easy to express it out i guess.. But i believe you get what i am saying, what i really really feel about you my bro! If not for the DARN army, we could have extra more years of fun together in a university in Australia and have more fun memories together! Then we can add to our collection of interesting stories and marvel at them as the years go by...

Thank you for the really nice card.. It is so simple, yet heartwarming that it made me tear.. Thank you so much too for the cake! Like SUPER love it!! Hahaz.. You know that i have always loved what you cook or bake or make.. =)

So here i am to wish you all the best.. Be it army, studies, work or whatsoever, i sincerely wish you the best for your future endeavors.. Life may suck sometime, but it will always pick up!! Just remember, whatever happens, wherever you or I may be, whenever you need someone, I, Sheryl Chua Yihui will be/am there/here.. =) Hahaz.. Just like how you have been there for me!! Khairul

So much has happened between us, it is a feeling that i doubt many can understand too.. Hahaz.. My god-son since 2004, and still going strong.. It is only during the recent years after we both have grduated that we got closer.. Only during the past year till now that we have more meet ups, chit chats and catching up..

A son that i am honoured to have, a listener, confidant and angel bestowed to me just to make my days on earth much much better.. The bond between us seems to be like one between a real mother and child! Hahaz! Make me feel so old.. But i am glad that we share the same feeling.. The way i know i will not be judged by you or whatsoever makes me feel really comfortable to trust and believe you, to share my true feelings..

Even i maybe super naggy, bitchy or crazy sometimes, you seem to not mind at all.. I love the magic that we have between us that sometimes, we really do not need to speak out but know what is in our mind and hearts.. The similar thoughts and feelings that need not be voiced out, can only be felt by the both of us.. All the heart to heart talk together, to check how both of us are coping, to see how life is treating us, the jokes shared to cheer us up and more..

It has been great having you around..The meet ups we have plus the chats that we share, always give me the much needed relieve from all the emotional burden in me.. Allowing me to take a breather, relax and face the chalenges ahead again with more confidence, strength and optimism.. These might be little short chats that we share, but i feel and know that i can tell you everything i feel, bare my chest (not literally) and feel that a heavy burden is off me at the end of the day!

You my son, never fails to cheer me up when i am down.. Never fails to see if i had a bad day.. Never fails to check how my day has been.. Never fails to be a great son.. All the jokes that you tell me, the concern that you show me and as simple as a smiley face just brightens up my day..I am so going to miss you son.. I really do not know how life is going to be over there.. No meet ups, no heart to heart talks, no jokes shared and stuff, it is going to be so tough.. But then again, now technology is like so super incredible! We can skype or msn right? Hahaz.. This way, i can still be updated with what is hapening, update you with how i am and how things are.. Continue to give each other the much needed support and optimism!

So here i want to tell you my son, jia you! Best wishes to your future endeavors, be it army, studies, work and so much more.. You must take care and remember to always stay happy.. Whatever happens, wherever we both may be, whenever you need me, i Sheryl Chua Yihui this godma always will be/am here/ there for you.. This i promise you my son.. You have been such a wonderful son to me, i could not have asked for more.. So you must be strong and take care okie, cause i know you will do just fine.. =)

Finally its time to update!

Okie, after a really hectic weekend, i am able to take a breather and blog.. So much has happened over the last weekend and i was really running around like a mad woman.. I shall not bother to go into too much details of me running here and there..

Fri
Went to check into the chalet with the help of my dad and Hazel
Then left immediately after dumping all the items and headed to Tampines Mall to watch movie with Lisa, Charity and Xue Ying
Headed to NTUC to meet my mother and get the other items needed for the Chalet
Headed home to get some stuff and then cab down to the Chalet
Waited for the rest to arrive..

It was really fun on Friday night, have not met my poly mates for so long! We managed to catch up, have dinner, play mahjong and chit chat al the way till morning like 530am? Then we decided to watch the sunrise as suggested by Candice!! Hahaz.. Was freezing with my small T-shirt and shorts in the beach breeze while awaiting for the sun to rise!! When it rose, we all started to take photos like never before and did funny poses! Hahaz..

Then we headed back to the Chalet to sleep at like 8am? And i woke up by like 10 plus am and could not get back to sleep.. Then started to prepare for the 2I, 4F and mini Springfield gathering.. Hahaz!! The rest woke up at about 12 plus and lisa came by 2 plus to help out..

Food came at around 3 plus and then Lisa and I headed out to decorate the gate.. After a while Charity joined us and we kinda had a super short mini casual chat as we were decorating.. Soon after that, people started arriving!!

The group just got bigger and bigger over the night! It was really amazing how we all have changed yet remained the same somehow.. It was a great evening of seeing one another again after at least 4 years! All the memories we had, gossips and scandals shared, it was really great digging them up and joking about them again! Hahaz!!

I enjoyed myself so much that no words can express!! I also received gifts!! Hahaz.. So sweet.. I really wonder when will the next gathering be.. Suddenly it dawned upon me that i am leaving in just 2 weeks time! But i am glad i planned this gathering even though it really drained all the energy from me.. A one-man show to plan this is no easy shit man.. Was really busy running around and could not sit long to chat with one another.. But i m grateful to the help that i got from my parents, Ian and Rennie.. The guys were not bad too, they would help to cook and ensure the constant supply of food to the ladies! Hahaz...

After 12 midnight people started to leave slowly and I had to started to clear up.. Cleaning up was not that bad as i had help from Ian, Rashid, Syeikh and Iskander.. Then it was time to shower and sleep man! Only slept at like 4am in the night..

Sun
Woke up at 1030am and started o get ready to buy the items needed for lunch and dinner.. Luckily with the help of Rennie, i had a ride down and started to shop for the japanese curry and salad ingredients.. Hahaz..

Then met with Chang Yuan and my son Khairul to head back to the Chalet with Rennie driving the van!I started with the preparations with the help from my son and it was quite fun! Hahaz.. After that we cooked, waited for Qi Zheng and Rennie to come back, then started lunch! To me lunch was great, but i am not sure to the others how do they think.. Then we started to play Mahjong and i was the ULTIMATE loser! Hahaz!!

After that the tri babes came and my son and gang took their leave.. The babes then started with the preparation of thier spaghetti and i started with the preparation of my salad! Hahaz! It was really fun getting messy in the kitchen with all the photo-taking.. Coach and grace came shortly and brought more good stuff!! Hahaz!!

We all had a superbly great dinner together and alot of fun gossiping and chit-chatting! Hahaz!! Played a short game of mahjong that did not work out, then decided to play blackjack instead.. Hahaz! The game was super duper funny lah!!

Then my parents came and we pack the items to bring home and headed home.. Reach home le i still need to unpack the items and could finally sleep only at 2am plus plus..The 3 day weekend chalet has been super crazy and hectic yet enjoyable and fulfilling to me.. I enjoyed myself so much even though i was so deprived of sleep.. Hahaz..

I want to THANK EVERYONE who made this 3-day marathon possible!! My poly mates, Ian, Dylan, Candice, Shi Hui, Hazel, Chaplin, Keng Kee, Jaren, Charlene, Charmiane and Alverina..

My secondary school mates, too many to name, so to ALL of you guys and girls, THANK YOU!! Especially to my twin - Cheryl, Isa, Esther, Jasper and Geraldine for the really nice thought..

Its been a while..

The last time i went to the airport was in October, to send Edwin off to Taiwan.. Now, i just came back from the aiport, to send Mark and Kiat Rui to Taiwan.. 2 weeks later, i will be going to the airport, to send myself to Australia.. Now how cool is that?! Hahaz!!Mark will only be back on the 26th Feb, by then i would already be in Brisbane, getting used to the life there.. Hopefully.. Hahaz...

Sending Mark off just now was quite interesting, i had a great time.. Syafiq, Mark and I headed to Macdonald at Terminal 2 to grab a bite.. I went to try the Cadbury Mcflurry as it LOOKS damn nice.. BUT IT SUCKS TO THE MAX!! If you are a peanut and chocolate lover, you will love it, BUT I DO NOT!! I LOVE OREO AND VANILLA ICE-CREAM ONLY!! Hahaz!! Paid extra 70CENTS for the really disgusting ice-cream which makes me feel like i want to puke right now.. So not worth the calories!! Hahaz!! But life is short, so who cares! But kinda regret eating it cause i am like super awake now!! SUGAR RUSH!! HAHAZ!! My son would understand this best..

I am so going to miss my sexy stuff!! Even though we do not meet up often, the times that we spent together is just so super funny and enjoyable! Plus Syafiq along, it brings the fun to another level man!! Hahaz!! Really looking forward to the next time i see you both.. Going to miss you two loads!! It is such a pity both of you cannot make it for the gathering.. But i am sure we would get the chance soon!! Hahaz!! If you consider months soon..

Plan to go Bali with them when they ORD!! That would be so fun!! Looking forward to that till then and hopefully the plan is really going to work out!!Oh wells, i have a gathering marathon starting from 5pm later till Sunday night..

Better go get some rest as i have ALOT to do!! Planning a gathering alone is some real tough work man!! Think too highly of myself, how to 1 man show sia!! Lucky i am going to get some help from Ian and Rennie!!

Leaving in 14 days time!! =) Do not know why, i seem to cannot wait to leave... Too many things here that are starting to get overwhelming, its time for a fresh start.. Don't you agree?

Time to update..

Okie, i finally got the mood to blog le.. Have been busy teaching trumpet and planning for the upcoming class gathering.. Have not been getting enough sleep even though i do not know what i am busy with.. Hahaz..

Last weekend has been superb with the gathering at my God-cousin's place.. Had god food with great loh hei!! After that went to bai nian with Thomas, Jonathan, Rennie AND EVELYN!! Went to Chen Lao Shi house where we ate ALOT as he and his wife was really making us try ALL the new year goodies at his place!! Hahaz!! Then we also loh hei at the end of dinner!! 2 loh hei in a day! How cool is that!! =)

So i taught today and rushed for training after that.. Was contemplating whether to run or not cause by the time i reach it was like 640 already and training ends at 730.. But Mr Thomas encouraged me to, so i did!! Yeah!! Did 4 sets with Mei Zhi and Patricia.. Thanks for running with me babes!! I today super lazy, so never take timing.. Hahaz!!

Much has happened over the week.. Good and bad, all comes together.. I guess in life we always need a balance right? Think about it, i would be leaving in just 3 weeks time, maybe a little lesser.. Hahaz.. How time flies! Oh well..

But i am SUPER LOOKING FORWARD to the gatherings this weekend!! Friday got my poly mates that i haven't seen in AGES! Saturday got gatherings with class 2I and 4F plus many other secondary school mates, Sunday going to catch up with a few juniors especially my son and also with the tri babes!! So super exciting can!! I cannot wait!!

There is so much going through my head now, but somehow i do not know why i cannot express them out.. Oh wells.. To sum up, after coming back to Singapore for a year, i am leaving again.. Thats kinda need some time to adjust again..

Really tired now.. Need to sleep.. Tomorrow i am going to wake up early to meet Xue Ying and Mei Zhi to whack the Nike sale baby!! YEAH!
